History
repeats itself
as the undefeated D.C. Defenders lost to a
winless team. In 2020, they lost to the LA Wildcats. This time, they lost to the
Orlando Guardians. They didn't get blown out like last time since Jordan
Ta'amu didn't play like ass like Cardale Jones did. The mistakes I see in
the
game recap came from an Abram Smith fumble, Matthew McCrane missing both field goals (63 yards is asking alot out of a
NFL kicker so what made them think a kicker in a league that
blatantly tells you they hate kickers could make it?) a couple missed
conversions and 9 penalties. Orlando simply kept the game close all night and edged out a high scoring
victory on April Fools' Day. At least I didn't look like a complete fool
with my picks,
I went 2-2.
THE GAMES
Vegas Vipers 13
St. Louis Battlehawks 15
Speaking of April Fools, the Battlehawks posted an announcement on
Twitter.

Fans still hurt about the Rams leaving them for Inglewood wasn't too happy
about the joke.
Arlington Renegades 12
Orlando Guardians 21
You know what, since the Renegades
didn't do much
against the Sea Dragons, I'm feeling frisky and pick the Guardians to win
again. Quinten Dormady was 27/34 for 328 yards and 3 TDs and ran 8 times
for 22 yards and 3 more TDs against the top team in the league. Keep it
up!
It's as if being buried by his shitty ass coach inspired Quinten to play better. WOW! |
Houston Roughnecks 17
San Antonio Brahmas 10
I get Houston has been on a
downward slide
as of late but the Brahmas just
isn't that good. In fact, the Roughnecks are the only team in the South with a winning
record. So any of those bottom dwellers could get in the playoffs leaving
Defenders, Battlehawks or Sea Dragons fans pissed that their team didn't
make it despite a winning record. Sucks for those fanbases.
D.C. Defenders 31
Seattle Sea Dragons 28
Lucky for the Defenders, they don't have to worry about losing to winless
teams in back-to-back weeks since
Seattle is 5-2. So, I won't
feel like
Khloe Kardashian after she got cheated on by Tristan Thompson while
pregnant. The XFL WILL have to worry about the USFL since this is
their last week
running unopposed. Unlike the XFL, most of the
USFL games
is on regular TV with 26 on FOX/NBC and 14 On FS1/USA. Can these leagues
coexist like the
various indoor football leagues, or will they try to take each other out in
a promotional war like in
wrestling? The USFL has better funding but the XFL has more passionate owners so
who knows what will happen in 5, 10 years. Maybe one
absorbs
the other to become the true spring football league.
LAST WEEK: 2-2
OVERALL: 19-9
