2022-23 NFL All No Photo Team

After I did this for the USFL, I was wavering whether I should do a All No Photo Team for the NFL as well. I didn't really know what to expect out of this. On one hand, the NFL is a professional organization so the teams should have headshots for all of their players either in their uniform or the team the player came from. On the other hand, the league is such a revolving door there could be multiple players without headshot. Especially those who were just signed during the offseason. Since I couldn't stop thinking about it, here I am doing it!

I got a mix of both scenarios where only 8 teams had players without a headshot on their roster page AND player profile. As of a week before the NFL Draft, there are 41 players without a headshot. Unsurprisingly, the trash bag organization Browns has the most with 19. That's more than the entire NFC combined. In 2nd is the Commies with 10, followed by the Jags with 7 and the Packers, Ravens, Rams, Eagles and Broncos all tied with 1 each.

I mentioned before how the NFL has a detailed generic silhouette for some players they don't have a headshot of and simply have no picture for others. I will never understand why they do this. Like, this is some EA Sports type of laziness. Anyways, some teams do a silhouette while others use a team logo in place of a headshot. As of this writing, the Ravens has a jersey wearing silhouette for newly signed WR Odell Beckham Jr looking like a Madden headshot. I'm sure this will be outdated by the time you read this but they still won't have as many photoless players as the USFL North. And that was a week after the season ended!

I took this screenshot last week before it was revealed OBJ would wear #3. That means WR James Proche II will be on his 3rd number in his 4th year with the Ravens going from #11 to #3 to #10.
