As I mentioned back in week 1, I watched the previous United Football League that lasted from 2009-2012. They played 4 seasons but since they only had 4,5 teams, they didn't have a playoff. You have to go back to an even earlier version of the UFL that existed from 1961-1964 to find a UFL playoffs. I'm not surprised that the Stallions and Battlehawks are in the playoffs since they have good coaching/QB play. Now they just have to turn around and beat the Panthers and Brahmas one more time to make it to the UFL championship game. I don't see these rematches becoming the UFL's Colts-Patriots rivalry but they should remain competitive. It's funny though that the XFL championship is on FOX while the USFL is on ABC, the opposite of last year.

The Panthers got in the USFL playoffs at 4-6 last season because the North Division was ass. Now here they are in the UFL playoffs vastly improved with a 7-3 record in the USFL Conference. The Stallions didn't look great against Michigan and should be grateful that they choked with the multiple penalties and missed field goal. I will still pick them to make their 3rd straight league championship game. Will they win that game? I'll tell you when we get there.
San Antonio Brahams 15
St. Louis Battlehawks 19
Back in the XFL, the Brahmas straight up sucked. It's funny how a change in coach and QB did wonders for them flipping their record from 3-7 to 7-3. The Battlehawks on the other hand got fucked out of a playoff spot last year due to being in the strong North Division while the Renegades took advantage of being part of the weak South. Speaking of the Battlehawks, they barely won their game against San Antonio too. I would have to think the Battlehawk faithful will be extra loud for this playoff game and cause problems for the Brahmas offense.
