So it looks like the reason why he went from playing good in the 1st half to throwing 3 interceptions in the 4th quarter is because he was concussed, again. The NFL's CMO Dr. Allen Sills says he didn't show any of those gross motor skills that they was hyping up when they edited their concussion protocol after his back(?) injury. This is why I mocked the NFLPA for puffing out their chest after firing that independent doctor. He knew these meatheads don't know what the fuck they're doing when coming up with these protocols and the brain is very complicated. Hell, we probably don't even understand half of how the brain works at this point.
That's why I feel so bad for Tua. Every time he has some sort of success, the Football Gods kicks him in the dick. He was unwanted by his previous coach constantly on the trade block for the whole season. He finally gets some talent around him and a coach who believes in him and he follows up his back issues with literally freezing up on the ground from a hit. He comes back from that putting up numbers that makes him the top vote getter from fans for the Pro Bowl Games. Only for him to get shunned. Then he plays poorly in the 2nd half of a must win game due to having a unspotted concussion. My God it's like Tyrod Taylor's bad luck infected him!
THE GAMES
Dallas Cowboys 20
Tennessee Titans 17
The Titans went from a Super Bowl favorite to fighting for their playoff lives. While everyone was laughing at the NFC South, the Titans were over in the NFC South pissing on themselves to the point that the Jags took back the South lead late to set up the division title match next week. Since this game means nothing to them, at least 8 of their banged up players will sitout this TNF game so they'll be ready for the Jaguars. I wonder will they flex it to Sunday night?
Arizona Cardinals 24
Atlanta Falcons 17
After playing in front of his son for the first time, JJ Watt announced he's retiring at the end of the season. He was one of the few bright spots on those shitty Texans teams and helped the Cardinals defense alot. The Texans will finally get a HOF who spent most of his career there.
Chicago Bears 24
Detroit Lions 34
So instead of tanking for a shot at the #1 draft pick or keeping Justin Fields healthy for next season, coach Matt Eberflus will start him so the Bears can get better and "see where they are" as a team. Fields has been sacked 48 times. How about starting with getting a better o-line?
Jacksonville Jaguars 27
Houston Texans 16
While the Titans are resting their hurt starters, Doug Pederson will do no such thing. It's understandable he's leaving his starters in considering the momentum they rode to the top of the division late in the year. They can't afford to slack off now just because they're playing Houston.
Denver Broncos 13
Kansas City Chiefs 30
After that Christmas Day beatdown, the Broncos fired Nathaniel Hackett before he even completed his 1st season there. Russell Wilson wished he could've "played better", which, no shit. All of that "Let Russ Cook" in the offseason only for him to play like ass and get roasted on national television by a goddamn cartoon starfish after throwing a interception! At least Brett Rypien has his back because it sure don't seem like anyone else does. Or maybe they do.
Miami Dolphins 34
New England Patriots 17
So with Tua likely done for the year, Teddy B will try to get the Phins in the playoffs. The Patriots offense is not great and Mac Jones is getting a reputation as a dirty player after chopping down Bengals CB Eli Apple. Bill Belichick really is missing Tom Brady these past few years.
Indianapolis Colts 10
New York Giants 51
Good thing Jeff Saturday is a interim coach. YIKES!
New Orleans Saints 27
Philadelphia Eagles 17
Who will win the Sean Payton sweepstakes? If he does go back to coaching, the Saints still own his rights so teams will have to trade for him. I feel the Colts and Broncos are more likely considering they have open positions now. Washington and Arizona could open up as well considering both teams have overrated coaches. Or he could go to Dallas. Who knows?
Carolina Panthers 31
Tompa Bay Buccaneers 6
If this was still a 16 game season, CAR-TB would absolutely get flexed into SNF. Tom Brady, in what could possibly be his final game with the Bucs vs the Cardiac Cats in a winner takes all match for the NFC South crown. Instead it's a noon game. The Panthers are outmatched on paper but they own the tie breaker so this is must win for Brady. If the Panthers win this division, I owe them a apology for doubting them and Steve Wilks should stay as head coach.
Cleveland Browns 16
Washington Maniax 41
Remember when we was told that Taylor Heinicke was the man on the Commanders? Well Ron Rivera changed his mind and Carson Wentz is starting again. After burying Carson, I said that Ron might be on his way out. Now that we see how indecisive he is, I really feel he should go.
San Francisco 49ers 37
Las Vegas Raiders 33
With his benching, it looks like Derek Carr's time in Oakland/Las Vegas is over. He had a nice career there where he's clearly better than the likes of Johnny Manziel and Blake Bortles from the 2014 Draft. He also has better stats than Jimmy Garoppolo and fellow Pro Bowler Teddy Bridgewater since he was a starter from the beginning. Despite not coming anywhere close to a Super Bowl, at least he can take pride that he had a better career than his older brother David. I'm sure Davante Adams is thrilled that the only reason why he's here is now sitting at home.
New York Jets 28
Seattle Seahawks 34
Here's 2 teams that started off hot but faltered lately. They still have a chance but it's doubtful.
Minnesota Vikings 14
Green Bay Packers 24
The Packers are still alive too. If only they still had Devante...
LA Rams 27
LA Chargers 16
It's the Battle For LA! It's the team that shit itself vs the team no one gives a shit about. It's the home owner vs the tenant. It's LA vs LAC. It's the Lakers vs the Clippers. That's all I got.
Pittsburgh Steelers 7
Baltimore Ravens 24
Speaking of Ed Reed, he's going the Deion Sanders route and starting his head coaching career at a HBCU with Bethune-Cookman. If he does well, maybe we'll see him at Kansas next.
Buffalo Bills 34
Cincinnati Bengals 38
It's funny how I'm just now noticing the Bengals only have 4 losses this season. Everyone's been dick riding the Bills and I focused so much on Tampa, I practically ignored the Bengals successes this season. Joe Burrow continues to get sacked alot while he's 2nd in passing yards and TDs. They made last year's Super Bowl with a glaring weakness at offensive line, so they can do it again with a slightly better o-line. And just think, Tua has been sacked 18 less times yet he's the one with 2 concussions. Aaron Rodgers is right, everyone's brains are different. Case in point, with all the times he's been hit in the head (and drugs), Steve-O has no ill effects.
