You know my feelings about international games so there's no point of me repeating it. But this is different because they're playing Seahawks-Buccaneers in Munich, Germany. Germans were very excited for this game, which shouldn't be surprising considering the long history football has in Germany. NFL Europe had 5 German teams when it existed from 1991-2007. The spiritual successor European League of Football has 7 teams with the Munich Ravens joining next season. And you can't forget about the German Football League that has been around since 1979. I would expand more on the history of football in Germany but I wasted enough time looking for pictures of Parks Frazier at Northeast Mississippi Community College.
THE GAMES
Atlanta Falcons 31
Carolina Panthers 0
Looks like Steve Wilks
joined
in on the scapegoating tradition as he fired CB coach Evan Cooper and DL
coach Paul Pasqualoni. Yeah, getting doubled up by the Bengals didn't help
but they got bigger problems than just their defense, like inconsistent QB
play. XFL Legend P.J. Walker followed up a 19/36 passing for 317 yards, a
TD and a INT day
against
these Falcons 2 weeks ago with a 3/10 passing for 9 yards, 2 INTs and a
pathetic 0 passing rating. Despite getting benched at halftime in favor of
Baker Mayfield who prevented
this game
from being a shutout, P.J.
will start in the rematch. You would think if Baker is healthy, he would start
but Steve must think P.J. gives them the best chance to win which
is...hell, I don't even know anymore.
Seattle Seefalken 20
Tompa Bay Freibeuter 16
If every team played the Bucs as soft as the Rams did on that final drive, they would be undefeated. The Rams defense stifled the Bucs for
the whole game but they changed from a aggressive, attack the QB game plan to a
passive wait and see strategy and Tom Brady just carved right through them
in 44 seconds with no timeouts. I hate that. It always annoyed me how a
team could keep their opponent from doing much of anything for 58 minutes.
But on the final minutes of the game, they play scared and let the QB
drive down the field with ease. Why would you be afraid of getting beat
deep when for the majority of the game, Brady wasn't able to do it? That
just bugs the hell out of me. Anyways, they lead this
trash division
for now but I wouldn't count on them holding on to it. Realistically, any
of these teams can win the NFC South.
Minnesota Vikings 13
Buffalo Bills 20
The Bills
may not have lost to LOLJETS but that was a
humbling
experience loosing that way after the media been dickriding them so much.
Also, I wouldn't say Josh Allen
played like shit. Yeah, he
threw 2 INTs
but he was also their leading rusher with 2 TDs. Zach Wilson didn't do
much either but he didn't turn the ball over and that was the difference.
So now they play a confident Vikings team while Josh has a
bum elbow. Lord help them if
Case Keenum starts.
Detroit Lions 26
Chicago Bears 20
No
all caps
response from me this time over the Kneebiters
beating
the Packers. It's still a surprising win but these Packers suck compared
to previous seasons. Like last season, the Lions play hard but can't seem to close out games. They
could be 6-2
right now if the ball bounced the other way in close games. So I'll go
with the Lions to get their second straight win.
Jacksonville Elite 24
Kansas City Chiefs 21
The investigation into the shoot locker room brawl involving CM Punk and
Ace Steel vs Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks is complete and it looks like
a
complete sham. Mainly because no one interviewed Ace's wife who was in Punk's
room at the time. So it looks like Tony Khan sided with The Elite and is
trying to buyout Punk's contract but the sticking point is the non compete
clause. Even though Phil Brooks is a bigger star and drew more money than the EVPs, Tony probably felt he would lose more fans by dumping the EVPs than
kicking Phil to the curb.
This is what happens with you're a shitty booker who haven't really built
up any stars. MJF and The Acclaimed got over on their own. Darby Allin is
popular but he would be a bigger star if his booker got people over
instead of under. The same can be said for Eddie Kingston, Powerhouse
Hobbs, Wardlow, Brian Pillman Jr, Gunn Club, Britt Baker and Jade Cargill.
These are all AEW originals who Tony could've built his program around to
become household names but instead, they're in the same spot as they were
when they debuted or worse. People love shitting on Vince Russo but even
he would do a better job getting these talents over than Tony!
Then add on the ROH integration on the program and Dynamite is a
convoluted mess. Tony should just turn AEW Rampage into ROH Rampage and
Dark Elevation to ROH Elevation, it's not that damn hard. That way, people
who like AEW's high spots, flippy shit wrestling can watch AEW while those
who want serious "sports based presentation" wrestling can watch ROH. Just
look at this
bloated roster and tell me they couldn't stand a roster split. And that doesn't
even include the various ROH wrestlers who show up from time to time. If
AEW and ROH had their own shows with their own roster, wrestling styles,
presentation and special events, then it would work like in the Ruthless Aggression Era. It's when you half ass it and wrestlers show up on the
other show a couple weeks after the split that it becomes pointless. The
two rosters should only meet on the PPVs so it would actually mean
something when they're together.
Cleveland Browns 14

New Orleans Saints 30
Pittsburgh Steelers 0
The final score didn't look
that bad but people absolutely killed the Saints over the loss. Maybe it's
because Dennis Allen
insists
on using Andy Dalton over a healthy Jameis Winston. They're both
average QBs but Jameis has the big play ability that Andy doesn't have. He's
just wasting Alvin Kamara and Taysom Hill's talent by playing it safe
instead of going out and taking wins.
Denver Broncos 7
Tennessee Titans 13
Here's a
dumb controversy: Pete Carroll credited Geno Smith's successes this season to him wearing
a wristband. Since he can read off the plays in the huddle, the offense is
able to operate more efficiently than they have in the past. Of course,
the media asked Russell Wilson for his thoughts since he doesn't wear one
and the Broncos are 3-5 while the Seahawks are 6-3. He said they "won a
lot of games without one on the wrist". Potshots like these are expected
since these teams are in opposite positions of where they were expected to
be. Also because it really does seem like
no one in the Seahawks organization liked ole Russell Carrington Wilson.
Indianapolis Colts 21
Las Vegas Raiders 23
I didn't watch the Colts press conference so I didn't witness what
befuddled the internet when Jim Irsay talked up why he hired former Center
Jeff Saturday to be his interim coach. Thankfully, former Punter Pat
McAfee
broke it down in layman's terms. I asked last week why didn't he promote a assistant who could've been a former
head coach or
Colts great? Apparently, he wanted someone who's ignorant to the pressures of NFL
coaching. He didn't want someone who would rely on analytics or play it
safe out of fear of being fired. So naturally he hired someone whose
only coaching experience is at a
Georgian Christian school (At least he's honest that he could be bad at this. Hopefully he can fix that terrible offensive line.). BTW,
former Murray St. Racers QB/Pass Game Specialist Parks Frazier will
call plays because why the fuck not?
Dallas Cowboys 13
Green Bay Packers 10
The ESPN talking heads sure was all in their
feelings over Aaron Rodgers'
comments on Pat's show. Like damn, the Packers are 3-6 but Aaron
isn't trash. My main problem with this team (other than the drops) is they keep
having him throw the ball
35+ times when they have TWO capable RBs to help take the pressure off him.
It's the same problem the Bucs are having. They either refuse to run or
can't run and their old QB is throwing the ball
40, 50 times
a game.
Arizona Cardinals 10
Los Angeles Rams 13
Speaking of old QBs, Jalen Ramsey says the offense is
letting the team down. I mean, your offense can't get going if your QB has been
sacked 28 times. And it doesn't help that your defense decided to play
scared in the final minute of the game that could've turned your season
around. And to make matters worse, Matthew Stafford is in concussion protocol. They're done.
Los Angeles Chargers 6
San Francisco 49ers 34
NBC is hoping Joey is healthy enough to
compete in the Bosa Bowl against his brother Nick. If either of them get a
sack, they would join the Watts, Matthews, Longs, Randles, and Jones as
the 6th NFL family to get 100 sacks. Who here doesn't love arbitrary stats?
Washington Enforcers 9
Philadelphia Eagles 37
People are calling it a conflict of interest if Jeff Bezos buys the
Commanders due to the TNF on Amazon deal. But wouldn't it also be a
conflict if Jay-Z bought the team due to him booking the Super Bowl
halftime shows? The fans would be happy for anyone at this point to buy
it.
