It's no secret that I've been fretting over the Stallions vulnerability
this season. After seeing them
dominate
spring football for 3 years,
every loss
is like the
sky is falling. They finished the regular season at
7-3
which is the most losses they had in a season since their 2022 revival.
Personally, I want them to win a 4th straight title just to make the people
who want them to relocate stew. They got their
revenge
against Memphis so at least they enter the playoffs on a high note.
THE GAMES
Michigan Panthers 21
Birmingham Stallions 24
Birmingham
beat
Michigan twice before this season and they should win again. Both matches were 1
score games so that worries me a bit. What gives me hope is that the
Panthers is on a 2 game skid losing to the Ponies and
Houston. Granted, Houston was a late bloomer this season so they might not be as
mid as their record says they are. Either way, In J'Mar Smith We Trust.
DC Defenders 10
St. Louis Battlehawks 17
St. Louis closed out the regular season with a 13-8 win over DC
last week. It avenged their week 3 loss to them. The game was low scoring due to both teams starting their
backups and the field had puddles because I guess soccer fields don't use
drainage systems. Anyways, I will go with a Battlehawks victory. The UFL
already missed out on the Battlehawks playing in front of their home fans
in
last season's
championship game, I doubt they will allow it to happen again.
LAST WEEK: 3-1
OVERALL: 26-14
