It was bound to happen. The Stallions was
denied
a chance of 4-peating by the Panthers as they lost 44-29. Interceptions. Bad
tackling. All of it combined with a hot start by Michigan led to them being
dominated at home in front of a sellout crowd of fans dressed as empty
seats. I will go into more detail with my eulogy of the Stallions next week
with the end of season review so let's get this championship preview over
with. But I wasn't the only one unhappy with this matchup...
THE BIG GAME
DC Defenders 24
Michigan Panthers 27
Once again, St. Louis hosts a championship game that the Battlehawks are not
playing in. They was just
outmatched
as DC beat them 36-18. Their offensive line was giving up sacks left and
right while their skill positions constantly fumbled the ball like they
had butter on their hands. The fans seen this choke job before and bounced
at the half. But enough about these losers.
I thought DC was dead in the water when their former coach Reggie Barlow left
before the season started. Turns out it was the best thing that could've
happen to them as Shannon Harris got them 1 win away being UFL champions.
As for Michigan, going from Danny Etling to Bryce Perkins at QB made a
huge improvement to their offense. Danny
played
more games but Bryce has more yards and TDs. So I'll go with the Panthers
to bring a football championship to Detroit.
LAST WEEK: 0-2
OVERALL: 26-16
