When the QB has a off night, he gets to return next week and win in dominant fashion. But if the kicker has a off night, he gets cut and they bring in another one off the street. So is the life of a kicker. You could be having your career best year with a 90.6% FG along with going 94.3% on PAT but as soon as you miss 4 PATs in a playoff game, now the team is ready to get rid of you...again. The Cowboys didn't dump Brett Maher (yet) but they did sign Tristan Vizcaino as a warning to Brett not to fuck up again. Otherwise, he'll be on the next flight back to Canada. The Cowboys have never been the same since cutting their best kicker Dan Bailey in 2018.
THE GAMES
Jacksonville Jaguars 20

That was quite the comeback by the Jaguars in their Wildcard win against the Chargers. They went from being down 27-0 late in the 1st quarter to winning with a last second field goal 31-30. Trevor Lawrence was embarrassing himself throwing 4 1st half INTs in front of Al Michaels (and Tony Dungy) only to throw 4 TDs in the 2nd half. It won't be mentioned as much as 28-3, hell it wasn't even the largest deficit a team overcame THIS SEASON! But people will mock the Bolts extra hard for now on by comparing them to the Falcons. Seriously, just run the ball!

Now of course, the Chiefs are a far better team than the LA Falcons and is smart enough to milk the clock. They have the best passing game in the league and their defense isn't gonna choke away a big lead. So I expect this game to go the same way as their Week 10 matchup.
New York Giants 20
Philadelphia Eagles 13
I don't consider the Giants win over the Vikings a upset. The Vikings are frauds who was lucky to get 13 wins. Hell, sportsbooks had THEM as the underdogs against the Lions! So no, that was not a surprising win. What WOULD be a surprise is if they beat the Eagles. The Giants lost both divisional matchups against them this season but maybe 3rd time's the charm in the divisional round. They will have a uphill battle considering the Birds are vastly better than them at everything but running the ball. But if they win, give Brian Daboll Coach of the Year now.
Cincinnati Bengals 37
Buffalo Bills 41
The Dolphins put up more of a fight than I thought they would last week. They forced turnovers and nearly pulled off a stunning upset over the Bills. The simulation says Buffalo will have a shootout against Cincy as well who's coming off a tough win against a Lamar Jacksonless Ravens squad. The Bengals LT Jonah Williams is out with a dislocated kneecap so their patchwork o-line will have a harder time protecting Joe Burrow and pretending to run.
Dallas Cowboys 17

With the Cowboys Monday night win over the Bucs, the NFC East became the first division since 1997 to have 3 teams in the divisional round. And to think, a couple years ago they was the NFC Least where Football Team won the division at 7-9. Well the Niners are gonna keep the NFC Championship Game from becoming the NFC East Bowl while dunking on all the haters waiting on Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy to fail. BTW, I knew Purdy could be a GUY. He finished 2nd in passing yards, passing TDs and rushing TDs in the 2020-21 FVB Sports FBS Playoffs after all.
