Social media was buzzing with all the fights that
happened during rivalry week in college football. MICH/OSU, TEX/TAMU,
ND/USC,
AUB/BAMA,
ASU/ARIZ,
HOU/BYU,
ARK/MIZ, NCSU/UNC,
FLA/FSU all had skirmishes that ranged from blocking after the whistle to
pulling a guy off their QB to multiple flag plants. But the most notable one
was between Michigan and Ohio State because not only did it kick off the day
full of drama, it got so chaotic police had to use pepper spray to break up the fight! In my opinion, flag planting is like going to
someone's house and
grinding
your muddy boots into their new couch, it is highly disrespectful and you're
just asking to get your ass kicked. With all these postgame brawls, it
wouldn't surprise me if conferences banned it and fined schools for doing it
like they do when fans storm the field/court.
THE GAMES
Green Bay Packers 37
Detroit Lions 27
141 million people
watched the Thanksgiving games setting a new viewership record so huzzah!
New York Jets 14
Miami Dolphins 16
It may be a
longshot
that Aaron Rodgers returns next season but at least he got a 3-part
Netflix
docuseries
out of his time with the Jets. I'm sure people are thrilled to hear about
this news.
Atlanta Falcons 17
Minnesota Vikings 23
What happened to the Falcons? At first, they were early season darlings
where people were calling them Super Bowl favorites. People were even
calling Kirk Cousins a MVP favorite and saying he will retire as a Falcon.
Then over time, the losses started piling up and now people want to bench
him in favorite of Michael Penix Jr. Like God forbid you develop your
rookie first!
New Orleans Saints 10
New York Giants 19
Taysom Hill was the only bright spot on the sad sack Saints so it's
fitting he
tore his ACL.
Carolina Panthers 10
Philadelphia Eagles 25
I wanted the Eagles to lose this just for DC Vic Fangio
bringing up
Allen Iverson.
Cleveland Browns 3
Pittsburgh Steelers 23
Monday night
showed
the best and worst of Jameis Winston. He has the talent to light up the
scoreboard throwing for multiple TDs putting your team in position to win.
He also can cost your team the win with stupid mistakes throwing for
multiple interceptions. Basically, he's your greatest asset and liability
at the same time on offense and their loss to the Broncos was no different
as he
threw for 497 yards, 4 TDs and 3 INTs with 2 of them returned for TDs.
Whenever I see games like this, I go back to this 2019 highlight
video that perfectly sums up his career.
Las Vegas Raiders 13
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17
Blame
Baker Mayfield for all this flag planting nonsense.
Jacksonville Jaguars 9
Tennessee Titans 34
Since Trevor Lawrence got fucked up
by Texans OLB Azeez Al-Shaair with a concussion, he rather as well take
the rest of this piss poor season off to get his AC joint repaired.
Seattle Seahawks 31
Arizona Cardinals 27
The Cardinals was another team everyone was dick riding early on until
they too fell off.
Buffalo Bills 24
Los Angeles Rams 30
After no one signed him from free agency, safety Micah Hyde will
return
to the Bills as a practice squadder with the intention of retiring after
the season. He could still play in a game though.
Chicago Bears 10
San Francisco 49ers 19
It was this massive time management fuckup that got Matt Eberflus fired by the Bears. Honestly, I feel people
are too easy on Caleb Williams. He's the #1 draft pick and is supposed to
be this hot shit rookie who is good enough to demand part ownership in the
team that drafts him. Him and the players took way too long to get set and
you would want to keep that timeout so you can kick the field goal. I have
no problem with Eberflus getting fired because he's a bad coach, but if
QBs are the "CEOs" of the team, then Caleb should share in the blame too.
Their president Kevin Warren said the HC gig will be the "most
coveted job" in the NFL which
fucking LOL.
Los Angeles Chargers 34
Kansas City Chiefs 17
What the hell happened here? Did Mahomes get injured? Did Tay Tay dump
Travis? Did Big Red fall down a well? What the hell happened to cause the
Chargers to double up the Chiefs?!?
Cincinnati Bengals 24
Dallas Cowboys 13
Dak Prescott
supports
Mike McCarthy staying in Dallas. Stephen A. Smith
doesn't care.
LAST WEEK: 8-8
OVERALL: 114-81
