There's a lot more parity in the USFL than there were last season. In 2022, the Maulers and Panthers were trash. This season, they're okay. Before, the Stallions were a juggernaut only losing 1 game on their way to a USFL championship. This season, they just lost a 2nd time. FOX may be happy every team is more competitive against each other but it really screws me over as I can't just lazily pick a team to win anymore. I won't be able to get away with not watching games like in the XFL. And speaking of the XFL, congrats to De'Veon Smith for winning the championship. BTW, the end of season review is on hold for my NSFW top ten list.
THE GAMES
Pittsburgh Maulers 24
Memphis Showboats 28
These aren't the same ol' Maulers from last year. This team actually has promise. Or maybe it's because they played a team that threw 2 INTs in the endzone. Either way, they showed me up.
Birmingham Stallions 21
Michigan Panthers 17
On the other hand, these seem to be the same ol' Panthers. They started off hot getting me to think they changed their ways only for them to lose 3 straight. Make that 4 straight after this.
New Orleans Breakers 25
Philadelphia Stars 15
I should've known the Breakers wasn't gonna be as dominant as the Stallions was last year. They still lead the league in passing, rushing and kicking so I'm not giving up on them for now.
New Jersey Generals 16
Houston Gamblers 20
Luis Aguilar singlefootedly beat the Generals 24-21. I don't need to type anymore about them.
LAST WEEK: 0-4
OVERALL: 10-10
